Today was a bitter sweet day !!! I got to watch my brothers oldest boy baptize his younger brother. I was crying during the whole thing like I said it was a bitter sweet day. Thought a lot about my brother and I know he was there watching his son's today. It was good being with the family. Here are some pictures.

I have been slackin on the blog :( I will try to get back into blogging again :) Ben is still with West Valley Police and I still work on Cottonwood!! We are trying to get into a house by the end of the year !!! We have also been trying to have a baby!!! :) I have a long ways to go and my doctor has me on all these meds to fix my body. :( Some of my meds make me real sick :( I pray nightly that Kris will send me one down :) I still think about my brother daily and some days are good and some days are hard for me!!! I tend to hide a lot of heart ache and sadness I still have to be strong for my sister and my brothers family!! I know that Kris watches me daily and he does take some of my pain away. I also know that he wouldn't give me anything I can't handle!!

Today was my brothers birthday he would have been 34!! Today was a hard day for me but I made it though it. Ben has been so good as a husband and friend. He has been by my side though everything. I went to work in the morning Ben got off work early to help me with the things I wanted to get done today. We went and got balloons and took them to Kris' gravesite, didn't spend along time there cause it was snowing and very windy. Then we meet with all the family for dinner and it was a bitter sweet time!! Got a cake to celebrate his birthday. It has been almost 3 months and it seem like forever since I have seen him or talked to him :( I miss him so much and not a day goes by I don't think of him!!! I wonder often what he is doing or thinking. I sure hope he remembers us down here! I hope as the time goes by it gets easier for all of us. I always remind myself that god wouldn't give me anything I couldn't handle. I can tell you one thing this has made me a stronger person and I will never take anything for granted!!! I love you brother :)

I want to thank everybody this holiday with all their love and support they have sent this way to me and my family :) It has made me a better person and have been filled with a humble heart!!! It was so neat tonight cause Santa and some of his helpers stopped by my brothers house to visit Allison and all the kids :D It brought some tears to everybody when he walked in!!! All the kids loved it and he even brought them presents!!! This year I'm so grateful for all the love and support from family and friends!!! It has made me a better person :)

Last Thursday it was my work party at wheeler farm and we had a BLAST!!! I got to take my sister's kids with me and the had fun playing with all the kids that where there. They even got to see SANTA!!! Curtis did very well with Santa but Dylon didn't want anything to do with him. LOL He had a death grip on me and would not even look at him! Over the holidays my niece and nephew had a YM YW activity and all the kids came over to my brothers house and put up lights outside!!! The kids did an awesome job :D It was a big turn out and it brought tears to my eyes just cause I knew all the kids where all there to support them during this hard time!!! I went out and bought them all hot cocoa and donuts. Tis the season!!!

Today has been a hard day but I made it though it!! I had a lot of time on my hands so I got to think and reminisce of all the joy and fun things Kris and I did in our lifetime:) Not a day goes by that I think of him. I wonder if he is thinking of me often. It's going to be a long journey but I can do it!! I love you bro!!!!

Kris,
I'm going to miss you so much, you will never know how much I loved you. We were like salt and pepper!! We were only 2 months apart so we were like twins!!! Just one was white and the other brown;) We had some good time together growing up. I'm going to miss your laugh your bear hugs, touch EVERYTHING:( I know that where you are is such a wonderful place. You don't have pain and your not sick anymore! You were my only brother and I'm going to miss you:( I'm going to miss you doing jokes on me when I would come over to the house. I'm going to miss the dead arms you would give me that lasted for two weeks and miss you tackling me right when I got out of my car, water fights and water balloons, snowball fights, having you help me into your BIG trucks, dinners at your place:( Going fishing at the pond ordering food staying there until we couldn't even see each other cause it was so dark, or just sitting around the living room with you and not even talking just knowing that we were together. I have so many memories!!! I guess I'm just selfish cause I want you back and everything back to normal but i know that wont happen:( Kris it is going to take me a ling time to work this out but will you give me a boost when I need it!?! P.S. will you hold my hand a little longer;) I will never forget you I love you brother!!!

So last night we went camping!!! The food was the bomb.com and hanging out with family was also nice, BUT I didn't like sleeping in a tent:( I did not sleep well and could feel all the rocks and bumps under me:( I was soooo cold that a few times I was going to go sleep in the car with the heater on:) When we woke up I was so ready to go home. I was (felt) so dirty and I hate that feeling. So at the crack of dawn I woke Ben and the kids up to start packing the car up :) :) We had breakfast which was wonderful and then we left!!! That was my camping for the YEAR!!! Thanks everybody for dealing with me and my quirks:) By the way Ness we look so hot in the first picture!!! It's hard being hot:)

Today has been a great day!!! We woke up went to Ruth's Diner for brunch, then drove up to Park City to do a little shopping:) I even got to buy me a new watch;) After we went to the mall and got him some new shoes that he has been eyeballing every time we go there!!! Now Ben is taking a birthday nap:) I guess that's what happens when you shop all day for things you want:) Ben I love you so much and I hope we share lots more birthdays together:)

Last week we took my grams and went to Kingsbury Hall to watch my niece's and nephew's recital. It was so cute and the theme was Beauty and the Beast. Brenton had a big part in it, he was Gaston and did a great job! All the other kids did well and they where so cute:) I was so proud of them. Ella was also cute in it too!!! Today we went to Weslie's school to help out on her report. She called me like a month ago telling me she was so excited to do her country report on Tonga. I was so happy that she picked it. I have helped her with her report and got to set things up with her. We also made a treat for all the little kids in her grade. Weslie also asked me to make a candy lei for her and her teacher. She did very well and I was a proud auntie:)

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I just want to take the time to let my mom know how much I love her!!! Even though she is like 700 miles away, and I'm a grown women. I still need my mom:) Mom you have made me a proud daughter, and taught me so much. If it wasn't for you I would not be the person I am today:) You taught me to be clean, love people for who they are, family comes first, help others when they are in need, do your best in everything you do even when your about to crack and most of all just be yourself and you will find happiness. I know sometimes we don't see eye to eye but we both know we are the same.(you taught me well) Always trying to make everybody happy in everything we do!!! I love you so much and I hope you have a great Mother's Day:)

Our Anniversary day!!!

Today marks our first year being married. Hopefully we have many more to come:) We woke up and drove to Switzerland (a.k.a. Midway) and had a great brunch at the Zermatt Resort. The food was amazing and I highly recommend going there sometime. We then did some shopping and just having some time for each other. Went for a walk, saw animals and some big fish:) We met a couple while we were eating and they told us that we needed to go check the crater just down the street. We went over and saw it and it was pretty cool. We had to walk up a bunch of stairs to look down, but then you could go in at the bottom, it was kinda scary for me because it was like a big cave full of water and you could walk down to the water hole and just chill out and you could see the scuba people down in the clear water its 65 feet deep. I got some good pictures of our day so enjoy them:)

I had a fun night!!! I took my two nieces, and my sisters family to Hollywood Connections. All the kids loved it, and us adults enjoyed it as well. We played lots of games and the kids got what they wanted from all the tickets us adults won:) I even got 1,000 tickets for being so nice to the staff there. All the kids loved all the rides!!! Tonight we took my lil niece and nephew to Hollywood Connection, they had a blast!!! sry didn't have my camera:( I played laser tag for the first time and I came in 1st place:) The whole time I had high anxiety! Last Friday we took 2 of my brothers kids to Hollywood Connections. One of my staff at work is a manager there, and he hooked us up that night!!! They had so much fun!! Clayton rode the roller coaster for the first time and he also skated for the first time ever in his life:) We went miniature golfing and played arcades all night long! Last night we went to Ben's dad's house for a bbq and just to hangout with the family. We went and watched different bands play at the park. We ate lots of food, and had a blast!! My cousins had a booth and I got the chance to help them work it. We also made s'mores and we got to watch some dang good fireworks. I would have to say Midvale Dayz have the best fireworks ever. Last night we went out to dinner with some friends and headed up to Silver Lake to go fishing. I didn't fish but I did throw Ben's line out and both times it got caught on the tree. Ben had to cut the lines both times and redo it over again. I was done after that. It started to get cold and there was so many BUGS!!! They were flying in my eyes, nose, and mouth. After that we drove to little cottonwood canyon and went to my friend's camp site. We made s'mores and just hung out for a while. The whole time I wanted to leave because I was sticky and DIRTY!! It was fun and also exciting to leave after the first hr. Here are some pictures of our night in the woods!!

Today we got the chance to watch my sister's kids for the day. We took them shopping and to McDonald's. We came home and watched Wall-E. After, we decided to take them up in the mountains to get away from the heat. We took them to Silver Lake. There were so many squirrels around and we got to feed them. Curtis loved feeding them. Yesterday was Ben's birthday. I just wanted to take some time out from my busy life and express my love to him. Ben is my best friend, soul mate and my husband. He is the world to me and I don't know what I would do without him. I have learned so much from him. I truly know what true love means. Still to this day I get butterflies when I see him walking up to the door, or when he calls me on the phone. I'm so glad that we got married so we can start a new chapter in our lives. Ben I love you with all my heart and I'm happy that we found each other:)

So yesterday we woke up and decided to hike Timpanogos. I was so excited to hike it. When we started it was fine until we started to hit the hard inclines. Man I thought I was going to die!!! Then I started to say lets just go back, but Ben pushed me and we made it. I was so proud of myself that I made it. If it wasn't for Ben then I would have just walked back down. My little niece has been fencing for a while now, and every time I'm with her she always tells me to come watch her. I didn't know what fencing really was until the other night. I decided to go watch her and I didn't even know that they wore those outfits. I have only seen those outfits on scary movies. So I have been going to my nephews games, and the little kids are so much fun to watch. They all run around and chase the ball. His first game all the little kids needed help. Now the games are fun and they know what they are doing. My brother is the coach and he is so good at it, and loves teaching the kids how the play. Clayton was so happy with the last game. He won and the kids were so happy. Way to go Clayton!!!

Today Ben had a big award ceremony for his work. It was neat to meet all his coworkers and all the police he works with. I got the chance to go watch him get his awards from the police department. He got 2 of them and made me very proud. Ben's mom and step dad had the chance to come too. Ben does very well at his job and he loves what he does. Good job Ben!!!

This morning we decided to take my brothers 2 boys to the Air Force Museum. I have never been there either. We all had a blast. The boys loved running around looking at all the old war planes. They even got some souvenirs. It was a fun outing!!

Yesterday we went to my brothers house to dye eggs!!! It's so much fun watching all the kids enjoy themselves and get excited for Easter. Here are some pictures of our fun day at my brothers. Wished Kari and her family could have been there. We missed you guys.

Last night we meet my sisters family, my cuz Zac, and Ben's cuz Dave at Training Table. I just love their cheese fries!!! yummmm Then we came back to our house to play rock band and guitar hero. It was some so good times. Here are some pictures.

Ben was so good to me this weekend. On friday I thought we were going to a friends house to play rock band. Then when we got on the freeway I knew something was up. We drove up to Park City and went for a sleigh ride. I was so excited I almost cried. Ben does so much for me anyways but this topped it all. It started to snow real bad so we needed to get back to SLC. Tonight we went out for a nice dinner. We both ate so much food. Thanks Ben for a nice weekend:)

Tonight was my nephews birthday party. We had the party at my brother in-law's work where they have several home theater models. There were 3 big theaters where they played video games and watched movies. Lots of food and cake for all the family and friends that came. Here's some pictures from the party!

Today I left work to go see Weslie in her U.S. history program. She was a 50's girl who danced to the song The Twist. She looked so cute with her puddle skirt on. I was so happy and proud of her. At the end they had a slideshow showing people who have served the country. Kris (brother) was on the slideshow. I was so happy to see him and glad that weslie knew she had a GREAT dad! We spent Christmas eve with Ben's family. It was fun to get together and just relax and eat lots of food:) We played games, Ben also went hot tubbing with his cousin. We played until 2am in the morning. Thanks for a good time. Sry for the overload of pictures! lol Just had so much fun:)

Today was my birthday! Ben was so good to me! We went out to lunch got to go shopping at my favorite store. (Quilted Bear) Then we did a little more Christmas shopping. When it became dark Ben took me to go see the lights at Temple Square. It was so much fun just walking around and looking at all the pretty lights. Then he took me out to a nice dinner. My sister was our waitress. We then came home and watched movies and just cuddled. I was so glad it snowed so much on my birthday!! Thanks Ben for a GREAT day:)

I don't know what it is with men and their electronics. Ben LOVES anything that has buttons. He is so dang cute sometimes. This morning when I was getting out of bed he had to show me, (at that very moment) some new itemes on his new ipod touch. Everyday he is putting new stuff on his ipod touch and having to show me. He loves his ipod touch:) We went out and bought it last week for one of his Christmas presents. Its the little things that make men happy! LOL
